    Full rebuild!?

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada... I'll second the compression test. As for the rods, as long as they are in good shape, they can take at least 600 hp. Unless your shortblock has issues, I'd leave 'em. If you have to tear the block down anyway, and you have the spare coin for rods, then why not?

What are your 5 must have mods on a supra?

Meh... all the common ones have been mentioned already. Better boost gauge. Auto drivers window up mod. Fix interior bits - recover steering wheel and shift knob, replace shift boot, ebrake boot, and console door. Replace cig lighter with rechargeable LED flashlight. Better headlights.

Replacing the Clutch Soon - Anything Else To Check?

I'd replace the rear main engine seal while I have it easily accessible as well.

I fed up with this Walbro. What would you say about Bosch 044 in tank?

Yes. Although I don't think he has to build much, it's a simple task when not running the original ECU.

I fed up with this Walbro. What would you say about Bosch 044 in tank?

It's a bit loud, but I can only hear mine at idle, and it's not mounted in the tank even. Mine is mounted under the driver side rear seat, on the bottom of the car. As soon as I push on the throttle, the engine / exhaust is FAR louder than the bosch. My tuner thinks he can stage the pump and...

In ths post pls write the title of the music tht played in your car at least 30 times

30 times a day? At an average of 5 minutes per song, that's 150 minutes, or 2.5 hours EVERY day? I don't think most of us spend that much time driving, and if we did, we wouldn't listen to the same tune over and over again!

    Supra Sites

Actually, from what I understand, both Suprasport and Suprastore have had complaints. The 'sport has been more recent, the 'store is from a few years back... there's also been reports they are fine, so your mileage may vary, I guess. I'm a big fan of Jeff Tamulis from notrice.com - his website...

Ok so you tell me your thoughts

Not sure I agree... engine and tranny is easier than the whole engine, for sure, but easier than just the head?

    Deleting account

Deleting accounts is a tricky thing, and as a rule we just don't do it. The problem is, either we dig through at the database level and yank anything with your user ID - posts, PMs, wall messages, etc, etc, or we leave them, and they become not linked to a user account. The first option is...

    Aftermarket steering wheel.

Partially... most wheels bolt up, however, the wiring does not, and the bits that allow you to turn the wheel and maintain an electrical connection definitely do not. It's not impossible to add, however, it's not easy. Best method - well, simplest, anyway, would be to fab a stalk mount for the...

Why is my New Clutch Slipping - proper break-in

The question is, did they get the backstep correct when they machined it?

Blowby: how much is too much?

Ya, makes sense - I pulled that line on mine once the boost went up significantly as well. Do the compression test and get back to us.

Why is my New Clutch Slipping - proper break-in

Did you replace the flywheel at the same time as you put the used stock replacement back in? I'm reasonably certain the flywheel was the culprit for the OP, as it was the last thing he was going to check, and he hasn't posted since, I'm assuming that fixed it.

    Supra fly-by's + FD (tekdeus & upgradedsupra)

The cherry widebody is up for sale... Duane's is still safely in his own garage. Somehow I suspect Tekdeus didn't want video like this floating about while trying to sell the car.

Blowby: how much is too much?

Why did your tuner want to mess with the PCV system in the first place? Technically, it's not too much until it starts to collect in the intercooler... eventually, it will plug the bottom of the IC and reduce it's effectiveness. I've seen cars with bad blowby where the IC had 2-3 liters of oil...

    mkIII 2jz

No. You use a 1j bell housing, 2j flywheel, and R154 clutch and transmission.

Rear turbo by the muffler ????

It's a perfectly viable solution for cars that don't have the space up front. Beats having no forced induction at all.

    EGT's What should they be?

All I can say is that's significantly higher than mine... but I'm running water / meth injection, and I know that has a large effect on EGT.

Meh... minor torture, perhaps, but executed? That's kind of overkill, IMO. Pardon the pun. ;)
