Franco,
Not a problem. I believe it was an ebay special through leatherseats.com which may have something to do with it. I'll see if I can find my receipt and send you the guys information.
Thanks,
Mo
$350 for the front and rear is indeed a great deal. I ordered a set through leatherseats.com and just recently had them installed. I believe they were $749 shipped to my door.
The quality of the material, fitment, and stitching are all top notch. They also sent additional material for all of...
Any carpet you get is going to be a real PITA to install. I bought an aftermarket one (can't recall from where) and it was difficult. It didn't come out great, but it certainly looks better than the original.
Here are a couple shots of the rear. Sorry for the bad quality. The car is in the...
Yep, the rear seats, along with all of the inserts were also wrapped. I'll take a few pics of the rears tomorrow.
The door panel inserts were actually two pieces of leather that needed to be hand sewn and then wrapped. I though I purchased light gray inserts, but it looks like they are the...
They wraps are from Leatherseats.com. I believe they were $749 shipped to my door. I had a local guy install them for another $300.
Overall, I think it was well worth it.
Thanks man. I had a local guy wrap them and he did a great job. I was going to attempt and install them myself, but I would have hated to ruin them in any way. He had to do some hand sewing and make a few other modifications.
I prepped and painted the plastic pieces as well with VHT Nite...
Another update....
The seats have finally been wrapped and they came out great. I'll be posting some pics in a few hours.
The full interior will hopefully be going in today and tomorrow. Then I can target the engine. The FFIM needs to be installed, lexus coils and ignitor, and a few other...
Dumb and Dumber are at it again!!!
I picked up the front bumper support yesterday evening after a longgggg delay. What can I say, I like to drink and my free time is limited.
Needless to say, Chris did a superb job. Not sure if he mentioned it, but the support has been reinforced with 1/8"...
Believe it or not, they have sold hundreds on CF pieces to MK3 owners around the world. Needless to say, if I was the only one purchasing them, they would probably be out of business. We weren't trying to be condescending. With this being a forum and reading beng the only form of communication...
This is true. I forgot to mention the MK3 bolts will not fit through the hub.
Luckily my calipers came with all of the associated hardware so it was not abig issue. Again, this is literally a bolt-on affair. Perhaps I'll take some time this weekend and get the rotors machined.
Thanks for the...
I haven't had my rotors machined yet, but the calipers do indeed bolt on using the existing brake lines. The hardware screws right into the 'new caliper'.
I'd say get whatever is cheaper. You can never go wrong with Brembos. I opted for the Power Slot/Slotted rotors to match my Wilwood fronts. The Brembos are gold and do not mesh well with my current set up. Centric makes good rotors, but I believe Brembo may be a notch above.
No Sir. They should be arriving today.
I was able to get the part #'s off of the website. I wanted to get them up as quickly as possible just in case they were people waiting on them. Once they arrive, I will be taking them to my machine shop and having them opened up a bit. ~fingers...
Update:
Installed my Tein Flex Coilovers, along with upper and lower control arm busings from Energy. I also installed my Whiteline Front Sway Bar.
Overall, it wasn't a terrible job. The metal sleeves on the lower control arms were a huge PITA. Pictures to follow.
