    Mo's 1991 Supra 500 rwhp Build-up (Long Overdue!)***New Pics on Pg.6&7***

Quick update... We got a lot accomplished over the past two weeks or so. It was a battle trying to locate all of the nuts and bolts needed to reinstall everthing. I labeled and saved it all, but after moving a couple times, I just couldn't find everything. Thing accomplished so far: Lower...

My new commuter - 2013 VW Golf TDI

Well said. Although these wheels are not bad looking, I'm sure I could find something much lighter. The mileage really is incredible. I drove from New York (Hudson Valley area) to Cleveland on about 3/4 of a tank and I averaged 48.6mpg. I was averaging 72-74mph.

My new commuter - 2013 VW Golf TDI

Ha! Hell yeah man. It's not a bad little ride. It certainly doesn't ride like a hatch that's for sure. Not to mention getting 700 miles per tank is something I'd never complain about. My buddy has a '97 Jetta TDI with 375k mikes on it. Still going strong!

My new commuter - 2013 VW Golf TDI

I've seen about a 3-5mpg increase! However , she's really opened up since the tune so I find myself getting on it a bit more than usual. Kind of a catch 22.

My new commuter - 2013 VW Golf TDI

I currently own a 2007 Jeep Commander which my company purchased for me back in 2009. Upon purchase, it had 38k miles. Today it now has 160k! I am averaging about 40k-50k miles annually for work. Since it was a company car, the car was meticulously maintained (on thier dime of course). No...

1976 celica liftback GT with a VW 1.9 diesel TDI swap.

Very cool. I just picked up a 2013 VW Golf TDI. I love it. You can't beat 46mpg and some pep to go along with it! I'll be getting the ECU reflashed next week using the Unitronic software. Besides that, I'll probably keep it simple. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Mo

Performing a helicoil repair on the intake manifold?? Thoughts & suggestions needed

No harm done. You've helped me in the past and I appreciate it. Looks like I'll be going with this kit: https://www.belmetric.com/ts1812-m8x125-kit-p-1508.html?zenid=ggrkfdgra6on1n8kikffu2aut3&cPath=217_218_232

Performing a helicoil repair on the intake manifold?? Thoughts & suggestions needed

Obvious to whom? I'm clearly a neophyte when it comes to this topic...hence the original question. What may be obvious to you, isn't so clear cut to others. This is a forum to help educate people correct? Not make assumptions as to what they 'should' know. I'd be happy to hear what you have...

Performing a helicoil repair on the intake manifold?? Thoughts & suggestions needed

I wasn't looking for a link. I was able to do that on my own. Merely looking for an explanation as to why they are 'better'.

Performing a helicoil repair on the intake manifold?? Thoughts & suggestions needed

I am in the process of installing a new FFIM and it looks as though two of my bolts are cross-threaded. I have already done the 7/16" helicoil repair on my exhaust manifold studs offered by Driftmotion. I figured this might be a good time to do the same on the intake side. Has anyone done a...

    Mo's 1991 Supra 500 rwhp Build-up (Long Overdue!)***New Pics on Pg.6&7***

Well, after much debate, I decided to purchase a new steering wheel. I went back and forth for a long time trying to decide on what to purchase. My interior is very dark so I felt like it needed to be broken up a bit. Not to mention my shift knob would be lonely without some company :naughty...

I'd love this wheel, but holy shit!! It's absurd to pay that much for a steering wheel! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-JDM-91-99-SW20-MR2-Black-Leather-Red-Stitch-TRD-SRS-Steering-Wheel-/350637030317?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51a3987bad&vxp=mtr
