    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

The lift is in and wired up correctly. She's a hell of a lot nicer lift than the old one. Now, If I can just get Sean to finish up the manifold, we are pretty much set to put her back together. Only thing else is intercooler pipe welding. I have the empty tank of Argon ready to be filled in the...

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

We should be ready in a week or so to put cars on her.

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Manifold back already, planed smooth and flat. The hoist also arrived today. I am leaving on vacation tomorrow so Sean and Gary will be erecting it. Sean has already installed 4 of them so that should help. Here are a couple of pics. A lot of work still needs to be done on the Supra as...

Mike, according to the shipping company, it gets delivered today!

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Steve is correct as usual. Any time that much welding gets done, warping occurs. The guys I take my manifolds too are reasonable and quick. I think they use a big sander.

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Yes, he has improved, but don't tell him. That flange was nasty! Taking the time to get good approximation of the aluminum is essential. Plus, having a good Miller wire feed welder helps a lot. Now, if I can just get him to finish it off tomorrow, we can haul her in to the machine shop on Monday.

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

Latest on intake build: Sean welded her up today. It is an art form making one of these manifolds. Takes a hell of a lot of grinding and cutting. I have added a few pic's. Please bear in mind we still have a lot of welds to grind smooth and add the Q45, after shortening up the opening. I like...

How about a head count? If it's just the st. Cloud boys and Steve, we could meet in Clearwater as far as I am concerned

    ALL MN Supra

Steve, where do you think? Rogers or something like that? There has to be a bar with some room for a few Supra guys! If anyone is interested, this is a good time to speak up. Sean, Rob, Drew? Who can come and when?

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Steve, looking good. I know valves are a pain in the ass. I well remember when you and Sean did the cams on my 2jz. Carry on!!! ::toothless::

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Sweet, I like the color of the covers. Looks like you have at least 3-4 hours work lined up.

    92nsx's supra build

Rob, it is beginning to look like this is going to be a very fun spring and summer. I have been meaning to call you. My wife has never ridden on a sled before and before you know it the snow will be gone. Would love to arrange for her to get a ride lined up.

    ALL MN Supra

Not sure what his status is on his car. I have read a lot of his posts and he is quite knowledgeable, especially with electronics, but seems like he doesn't quite get it. That was a real nasty call out thread when he and Sean got into it last year. The sad thing for Figgie is Sean would have...

He seems pretty smart about electronics but after the thread on SF, I think he lost a lot of face.

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

The past few days Sean (funky_monkey58) has been building a front facing manifold in return for a non disclosed favor and bit of cash. He wouldn't let me take pics yet as he is in the process of using a carbide bit, welding and grinding. A lot of aluminum in the air flying around. If it looks...

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Steve: I know the RPS carbon clutches are expensive. How expensive are the SPEC's? 900-1000 ft-lbs is more than enough. I just hate to loose drive-ability . My set up right now is decent, but this isn't going to last me long at my h/p range.

    ALL MN Supra

Mike, Sean and I talked about it. We were thinking that since most if not all the Supra guys cars are in storage or not running yet, that perhaps meeting in a bar somewhere might be a good idea. Besides bathroom isn't ready to go in my shop yet. I have no problem with a meet at the shop, just...
