easy as pulling the dp to check for oil residue on exhaust housing for peace of mind. Is your PCV routed correctly? This can cause smoke also, at least i think so. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Imo, i think this takes away from the cleanliness of the car. I really like the engine bay and what has been done with the car, but these just don't go, they aren't done the right way, and doing it that way is beyond the average joe's ability.
lol, nitrous aint gonna fix a 2.3 60ft.....you're looking at the wrong end of the problem, he still trapped almost 110, which is good for the factory 13 second quarter mile a mk4 puts out. Just driver error here.
