They routed the rad into the rear hatch. It has ducts to cool it. Find the article and check it out, it is rediculous fo sho. Btw, this engine swap has always been my secret plan, but now with all the interest I figured I could tell ;). Once i finish my digidash, I'll think about trying it if I...
If you bring soap you can freshen up while in there instead of sitting in the car doing nothing. Win win!
Btw, this idea could be win if they look good. I always thought the black/steel ones looked tacky.

To be honest, when those suvs floor it it does sound pretty nice sometimes. Especially the SS models. Although I'm sure their exhaust systems hinder the grown a bit.

Pardon my ignorance, but I wanted to know; does this mean it's just the engine in the car right now sans any trans? Or are you refering to a different trans you want to swap in. I'm just curious.
I love the sound like everyone else btw, it does sound quite menacing ;).

I wanted to know if the soarer, say 1990 ish, front engine cradle would be able to fit in the place of the supra front cradle. Would the mounting points line up? I ask because I'm trying to put together a plan involving a front sumped swap, so I figured using the front sump cradle from a soarer...
They are part numbers from the online epc. The specific parts are from the rhd digital instrument cluster; main pc board and the longer tems equipped board. I guess the part numbers aren't working anymore.

As others said, He did what looks like a great job on the part. I don't like the conversion, but that panel could be handy if one wanted to use it as a base for other lights or other mods.

Nice to see another local guy on here. I haven't seen you in person driving around yet. The build looks good, although i'm dumbfounded why you could not find the bolts to mount the block to an engine stand easily. I took maybe 10 mins finding mine at the time (gr.12 fasteners ;)).
Good luck...
Good luck. I'll be starting a new cluster build thread soon once I finish my rear cluster casing jig. I'll be vacuum molding the rear casing as fiberglass was messy/bulky.

I didn't push the auto torque converter over all 3 gears, and noticed when it wouldn't mate up snug to the block. I was installing it with the car on jackstands and ramps...

There's a guy who posted his 92 for sale on the local CL, and he thinks he's doing us a favour and listing at $2900 :sarcasm:. I was thinking of offering him more like $1000 for it, since it is teal and in decent shape. Like you his car is a non-running car, due to the engine being taken apart...
As long as there are no cuts or nicks in the block surface you can get your fingernail stuck on then you'll be fine for a stock-type headgasket. If you want metal, may I suggest Cometic; they have a required RA value of 50 or less I believe which will provide the best allowance for any micro...
