I agree they do look good from what I can tell. Very stock-like; I like, although I also like wild colours hah. I could have taken a better picture with a toaster though.

There is a site on the net of a guy who is doing this, sorry to be so vague :biglaugh:. He had pics, and he showed this huge electric motor he was mounting under the hood. It was roughly the size of a 30-40 gal drum. He even had it mounted to the tranny, but he didn't update for a long time and...
Pb blaster is the wrong application. It's only to get rust stains off of the paint/clear coat from the moldings, not to free up parts due to rust.

The interior looks comfy, but the exterior is something else...
I want to know the best way to clean the residue left on my paint from the old 87 moldings that were rusting. The rust isn't from the metal of the cr, it's just on the paint from the metal backed moldings. There is also pieces of the double sided tape foam left which seems very stuck on. What...
I second the stock engine dampner. I have one as mine is an 87, and If it wears out I'll just either replace it with a new stock one or find a tiny shock to do it :icon_bigg.

Yes the car is on and everything. The hazard switch in the button on the dash, and the turn signals are on the left stalk. So are you saying that the stalk itself might be bad? It still works to turn on my headlights and such, so that means the stalk is working which is why I'm confused the...
The emergency flashers still work, but neither turn signal works. What area or thing shout I trouble shoot to find out why they don't work? I thought they did, but today I tried them and nothing. I'm not very wise with electrical on this car so please help me out :).

Alright, as usual you gentlemen helped me out very nicely, as I expected nothing less of supramania :). The car is driving forward, but I noticed Reverse still did not seem to work. I haven't finished filling it up as it was getting warm and i only looped the cooler nipples together for now so...
Oh ok, I know what that is now. I re-installed it as it was before; luckily the rust showed me where the nut sat before heh.
I have a very very noob question IJ, but I don't have the user manual and my Hayes manual doesn't say it; how much fluid goes in the tranny? I have put 2 qts in so far...
When it was cold i filled it to a bit over half way on the cold scale. The thing is, when I had the tranny out of the car I rolled it to open the pan, and not a lot of oil came out, but when I installed it there seemed to read plenty of oil in it. Could my stick be in too far? I added almost 1qt...
How do I do that? Would that honestly prevent the car from engaging into drive even in L or 2? I ask only because it seems P is fine, as in the car can hold itself on the slope, but any other and it rolls down the driveway. I'm so sad over this  all the work to get this new tranny in and it...
Ok, Let me start by saying I just finished replacing my auto transmission with another known working one, including the working torque converter. I do not have the neutral start safety switch, but I tied the black and white wires of the 3 prong plug together to "jump it" as I have heard it will...
What about just idleing, or moving slowly to park or move the car? Will the tranny heat up enough in that time/harshness to damage? Maybe 4-5 mins of barely driving?
eric
About how long can the auto tranny run before it gets too hot? A couple mins? This is without the proper cooler and either the smaller one, or just looping it back in for now. Mini thread-jack but not quite ;).
