The car has always run just fine. 3 years on plugs is nothing. Imho. Besides being covered in oil, they are fine.
EDIT: Typical spark plug life is between 45k miles and 100k miles. Depending on what it is made from. (copper, platinum)

Could it be just as simple as bad valve cover gaskets like BH suggested?
Just replaced the plugs yesterday after 3 years of usage. The plugs in cylinders 1 and 3 looked fine. 2-4-5 and 6 were dripping oil when they came out. Does this mean my valve seals are bad?
