Yeah, with the console looking like it did with aluminum and ABS panels grafted to them it can be a bit hard to visualize the final product. With the wrap it really cleans up the pieces. especially with the CF look helping to blend imperfections.

Here's the pictures I promised. I put everything back together and it feels pretty comfortable to use the switches. It'll look much better once I wrap it with 3M Di-Noc vinyl wrap.

Wow, that's sexy! Got me thinking of a different idea for my center console once I build the new dash next winter. Tonight I got the center console done. All I need to do now is wrap it in 3M vinyl Di-Noc and it'll be done. Pics are on my facebook page, I will post them here tomorrow.

Got the switch panel all done tonight, along with the center console trimmed enough so I can mount the panel vertically in a spot that the wiring connectors won't interfere. Tomorrow I need to glue in a panel to hide the backside of the switch panel, clean up the edges of the center console and...

Got a hot knife last night and got the majority of excess trimmed of. Gotta take a file to it next to clean up and fine tune the lines.

Got the sheet of ABS plastic last night and got the top cover all bent using heat and glued down using 2-part epoxy. In the next day or so I need to break out my small bench sander and trim off the excess and then create the new switch panel and cover.
