Yes, This would be the reason why both Jon AND myself didn't make the meet in our Supras...:icon_razz
I'd normally brag about the lightweightness of my Hardtop Supra...but unfortunately I don't think Fred Flinstone himself could handle leg-strolling a Supra............ :biglaugh:
Jeff
Looking great.
It's certainly a big accomplishment to be able to compete in any FormulaD event.
Now get out there and represent that A70 like no one else ever has! :biglaugh:
Jeff
GPS Verified on a laptop as well as a Garmin. 164MPH.
3.91, Auto trans. 235/40/18 (F) and 255/45/18 (R).
IIRC, The needle was sitting about flush on 6K...Then again, I was a bit more focused on what was in front of me rather than focusing on my gauge cluster.
That's why I had 2 GPS'...
I love my RS*R...looks and sound.
I'm a bit dumbfounded by some that "hate" the sound of it, though.
To be honest, I think just about every Supra sounds the same (as long as it's got similar setups)....only difference I notice is the pitch and loudness when you're talking about different...
Holy Mother of Dust! Look at that interior and engine bay! :aigo:
Yeah...I'd say after almost 9 long years, that'll do it.. ;)
It's unfortunate that all of that happened previously...
However, I'm glad to see that you've built up the motivation to get it going again.
I assure you, your...
It's certainly doable, and it's been done on several occaisions.
But to be honest, it's not something that's really recommended unless you do have all of the necessities in being able to compensate for all that fuel. (As MKIIINA said, a WBo2).
I don't know at what line I'd have to draw and...
LOL The Grocery Kart aluminum wing you had on the back of your last MR2 was so deceiving.
Just to think of the looks on Mustang and Camaro owners faces after you pulled them is priceless....:biglaugh:
LOL I see signs of "Like father, like son" already. :)
I did happen to notice that young Nicholas was digging pretty deep into his nose looking for something..........just like his daddy. :biglaugh:
Congrats, again, Matt.
He's gettin' the '82, right? :D
Thing is friggin' gorgeous, Armando.
The more I look at it, the more I REALLY dig it being wingless.
It looks like it's in GREAT condition, too. From the body to the interior to, of course, the engine. :)
So...To recap. ;)
On The Speed Channel's "PINKS".
We've had:
MK3 SUPRA - 7M.
CRESSIDA - 2JZ.
[Anyone want to fill in what I think should go here next?] :biglaugh:
I as well as others, I'm sure, are quite interested in this other MA70 R154'd 9 second monster.
Because to date...
Well, making an assumption from the background in the first picture,
I'm willing to bet it's already an AutoX built/capable car. :)
A, Give me a call ASAP when you get it.
And how does this work out for you?
As in, can you feel the twins wanting to die off at higher rpms with 20psi?
What EMS are you running? Or are you simply using a FCD of some sort?
Jeff
Sweet. :)
I previously was subscribed to GRM. Honestly is just about my favorite magazine other than SCC & Turbo Mag.
They don't cover overdone cars (Or as I like to refer to as the typical "F&F car".
They show REAL cars driven by real owners and discuss lots of real-life things in the...
Oh Hell Yeah. :biglaugh:
I don't know how I overlooked that one. I guess I thought it was another picture of the "3.0 TURBO" version.
I'll totally take one of those as well as your first design you posted (Side/rear view of a Mk3) but with JZ Power on there somewhere.
I don't like the...
You design one with:
JZ Power and a front shot of an 89+ MK3, With "Supra" written somewhere...
In a Black shirt...and I'm sold. :)
You make a couple designs, I'll probably buy one of each. ;)
Jeff
As what's already been said...
I've never seen that style of wheel any larger than a 16".
To be honest, I don't know how they'd look on a MK3.
I know they'd look great on a MK2 with a lowered stance...but I'd certainly have to question them on a MK3.
Jeff
Skylines are great cars...
But to be honest, the only thing that pertains to my interests is the engine.
The name as well as everything else *IS* overrated.
However, A high revving, well-designed inline six is not.
Just my .02.
Jeff
