the picture is missleading.. see how the intake lobe is pointing at 12:30 ? it should be pointing to 11:30 and exhaust should be pointing at 12:30.... I think what they are saying is seeing as there are 2 TDC if you turn it over till the intake lobe is pointing in the UPWARDS direction...

well looks like exhaust opens first with marks lined up.. so thats tdc on the compresion stroke.. so you line it up to #1 with the marks lined up.. I do believe lol

gona make me go look at cams lol... On a chevy you set timing marks on chain dot to dot.. and then put dist in 180 off 1... :} let me go look at cams

how are you seting up number 1 on distributer ? you sure its at tdc on #1 piston and then the rotor pointing to number one well just past #1 i think it is..... Ive only set mine up and im turbo... so i can only ask if you got it right... but maybe some pics of were the dist rotor is...

sounds like you need to pull plugs... maybe a fresh set... tripple check injector plugs... make absolutly 100% sure they are on right....you need more help with that ? and make 100% sure you got dist in right and wires right.... any or can you take any pictures of how you have things now ?
