so that's all i need to do with the manual ecu?
in the other car there was a black box under the dash that i do not have??? thinking differences in years? never heard of anyone needing this lol

Does the manual ecu need a clutch neutral safety switch to allow the car to start?

I am in the last stages of my r154 swap from auto(88t to 89t)... here's my questions that remain unanswered:
1. I switched to a manual turbo ecu, so do I need to bother with any of the wiring besides reverse lights? with the manual ecu I don't need to do the splicing to make it run, right...
A couple years ago when i first got my supi I found a stages of build up and horsepower rough specs thread.... i was trying to explain it to my boyfriend and his friends the other day since I plan to rebuild my engine this winter... and I can't find anything anywhere lol ... no I don't think of...
All we could figure was that it flooded really bad and couldn't o2 with out getting more gas... haven't really had any problems since... the stalling was due to removing the pcv when i put my BOV on with only boosting 9 lbs...
So my car has been running beautifully for months now... not hard to start (normally), no engine issues.... she does however get extremely cranky when I mess with the aftermarket BOV I have on there and doesn't want to start after I mess with it.... The car had been acting like it wanted to...
So I have been doing tons of research and keep getting so many different answers..... I currently have the original ct-26 but I'm having oil blow by and wanting to upgrade to a bigger trim size.... with out many modifications if possible.... any help would be appreciated... i'm getting...
I have been dealing with all these issues... I have an 88 with a rebuilt 89 7mgte in it... it smokes for about 5 seconds on start up and when boosting.... but is fine at idle.. although my idle is high... I smell oil burning when boosting, but it has a new MHG... passed compression check and and...

Changed the water pump and no more brown coolant... :naughty:
so I think the whole mess is gonna have to wait....

Breaking down in front of everyone you demolished and all your coolant on the ground....... $ PRICELESS
and there is oil coming out of the exhaust... it decided to really show...
