If you made it flow better it would look like sex....as it is now it seems to have a sharp bend in it which throws the flowing lines off:-(
where the headlights are it looks 3" tall but near the windshield it looks to taper back down to 2"....don't look right to me but that's me.

Now that I know it's a noise filter it makes sense...
It kinda sorta is for your stereo and other things....without it you'd hear buzzing in your speakers that will get louder/faster as your rpms rise.
I shoveled my driveway 3 times, shoveled the neighbors driveway...shoveled the sidewalk 3 times, then shoveled out two car lengths of snow so I could get out....I'm hurtin right about now

if youre cooling system is in good shape then it will eventually push the air out threw the rad cap and suck in more coolant...
you can do it yourself faster if you jack the front of the car up about a foot then open the rad cap and start the car...
bolt the rear timing cover on and tell them to leave it on while decking...
the reason why you must clean the block is because dirt in means dirt out....last thing you want is dirt finding its way into an oil channel from you or anybody fingering it all up....yes the engine needs to be stripped...
I'd rather loose a little power then to not have a functional "legal" system...
The vibrant doesn't come with flanges so include flanges and gaskets I'm sure $180 is a good price....
Now I just need to get the exhaust in so I can know for sure as it seems like everyone has a different...
So I found a vibrant metal core 3" for $111....is it indeed functional and worth the price?
I have no issues spending money but I just need it to work:-(
Do metal core work as well as factory? I don't know much about cats and I worry about buying one that doesn't work like it should..
I know there is ceramic core and metal core...which is better?
