    6 pot willwoods won't clear 19"s

Washers are a very poor way to confirm that your wheel is true. Were you able to check this trueness before the brake install with the wheels installed properly? Mine are flush front and rear, I think that looks great, as long as it doesn't touch the fenders too bad.

    6 pot willwoods won't clear 19"s

Yes, I agree with everyone else. DONT grind the caliper. Those are old GN calipers, they were just regular cast calipers, that stiffening rib is VERY functional. All the newer calipers are forged, or the billet is forged then machined, either way those older calipers are not near as strong...

    FFIM technical questions.

I am considering making a FFIM, the main problem I see here is that everybody wants something different. I don't roll that way, Im all for cool custom parts, but I cant make 10 different configurations. That being said I am not opposed to making more than one intake manifold design available I...

    Opinions on break in period

I was in a hurry with one of my motors, I just did a garage/ghetto (stone hone) rebuild (in the vehicle, this was the Z) job and did the motoman route and 3 cylinders were 96% and above, the other 3 were below 70% I have never had a good motor where any of them were above 92~93% leak down...

    Milo's Booster Seat...

Yea I have been kicking around the idea for a while. But you know me, when I do, do it it will be as right as I can make it. The problem is everyone wants something different. Some want long runner, some want short runner, some want a stock throttle body, some want a huge throttle body. Some...

    Milo's Booster Seat...

Dave I had to go back like 4 pages to find any progress on the supe. Is this the only thing keeping you from assembling the car? Is it going to bum you out when I make a FFIM and begin selling them? I suggest you weld a simple tube to the top of your cut-off upper intake and just wait for...

Saw a MKIII at an autocross today! w/ a few pics

My kit weighs quite a bit less than the stock kit does already Yea I really couldn't figure that post out either but I figured I would give a stab at answering it. Thanks for the compliments, I have only sold about 40 sets in over a dozen countries in less than 2 years. LOL Yea that is odd.

    misses when under hard bost

A spark event becomes exponentially much less stable as the pressure goes up. Closing the gap makes the event much more likely. As the pressure goes up colder plugs will be required. Pardon my late response, I hit submit and noticed 5 pages, this was from the first page.

Saw a MKIII at an autocross today! w/ a few pics

Thats what I thought. 3K for 13" front brakes or $2400 for 14inch front brakes. OR $1200 for 13" front brakes and less than $1700 for rears. OR 6 Piston 13" front brakes. All that and my competition still has a stock icon sized image and I wonder if the guy that picks up the...

    damn rivets

I have installed 3 different Cometic mhg's they all had the rivet. I know you guys will all poo poo me but I have reused MHG's more than once and know a couple of others that have also, and always had good results. If you are the one to do the R&R on the head, I would re-use the used MHG and...
