If it keeps coming back you probably do have a bhg or some other coolant loss issue. Address this immediately, and continuing to drive on it could result in a warped and/or annealed head.

Yes it is corrosive and will eat up seals on engines not designed to run it. This is a a big issue with small engines such as landscape equipment and older ATVs, specifically with the carburators.
Bad idea. While ethanol can be a great fuel for tuners your fuel system and engine control needs to be upgraded. To do it right you need larger injectors and fuel pump sometimes need to uprade lines and filters for better flow and need to run a standalone.
