From memory distilled water is a very clean water compared to your tap water since all its impurites were removed. It's basicly collected from the steam produced from boiling the water. And doesn't conduct electricity as well compared to tap water.

Stock cams are fine. The problem with a lighter flywheel is that in middle of changing gears your revs drop quicker due to it's low inertia so you'd have to pay attention to the gas pedal more and shift quicker otherwise like what others said, you'd stall. So if that's not a problem...
