is it possible to repair the waste gate on the ct26, i dont know what its called but its the little flap that opens or is it best to just get the thing upgraded?

You can replace the actuator.

mine is cracked. can that also be the cause of the turbo not boosting 8 pounds?

If the cracks are bad enough yes. That is if everything else in the engine is good.

That would be the housing tho not the waste gate flapper.

man... only thing wrong is i need to redo the valve stems like you said before. might as well do the head gasket while at that point. you wouldnt know if the ct26 57 trim can produce over 400hp would you?
