Went out to test my new turbo/qsv and went out to a back road to dial it in and a coupler blew.
Going from a driftmotion 60-1 to a comp turbo billet, ball bearing 6265 over a qsv didn't impress me at all. Do I need to put a boost controller on it?

i named mine Angelica after the girl from Rugrats, spoiled, mean and bratty but an angel when she wants to be. i only call her "supra" in front of most people tho
I want to use permanent high heat loctight on the studs for my turbo but it's only good up to 450 degrees. What else could I use? Besides jb weld. That's my last option lol

I'm trying to understand everything I need to know about wheel size, but positive offset sticks out more right?

Is this different for 89? I'd love a better security system with a key fob but I hear bad things about installing an aftermarket system.

 you could take your exhaust off and run it with just the downpipe to see if back pressure is the problem haha

Have you checked/retighten your bolts between head and mani, mani and turbo and mani and wg? Your exhaust needs to be checked for leaks as well as your ic pipes. exhaust that escapes before the turbo will affect your spool.
