91 MK3 Factory Alarm info

I am looking into getting the key fob for the factory alarm and it seems that the alarm system in our cars is the RS3000 system and the previous owner of my MK3 lost the key fob for it. I am trying to make sure I am getting the correct remote for the system and from my search I've come across these remotes.
This one, which I like over the other one

Does anyone here have the original remote or will either of the ones list above work with our systems? Also if anyone can help guide me on where to buy one that would also be appreciated.

Is this different for 89? I'd love a better security system with a key fob but I hear bad things about installing an aftermarket system.

I would also love some info on this. Until recently, I didn't know the car came with a fob. I was just given 1 key with the car when I bought it.
