    FFIM intercooler pipe routing pictures

I'm looking at the precision turbo 600 hp intercooler: http://www.precisionturbo.net/Wc21126d5f695d.htm ...but it seems so small (31.5" x 8" x 3.5") compared to what most people run. I'm looking for 500-550 whp using a GT35R. The 600 HP seems like the right choice. Would the 750 HP one...

    FFIM intercooler pipe routing pictures

I've seen yours from your build thread IJ :aigo:. Looks really good. I'm afraid going through there I would hit the headlight. How much clearance do you have?

    FFIM intercooler pipe routing pictures

That's VERY nice, and just about how I was thinking of doing mine. It's good to see someone that did it like that. I would probably put a coupler in there just so I didn't have the remove the bumper to get it off. I was also thinking of putting some door/trunk molding around the hole so it...

    FFIM intercooler pipe routing pictures

I'm going to get a FFIM for my car, and I'm trying to figure out how I am going to do the cold side pipes (intercooler to manifold). I know people do it one of two general ways: 1) Route it straight down near the A/C compressor 2) Go down near the battery/headlight (with a relocated battery...

    R-154 Leaks

This caused mine to leak transmission fluid ALL over the underbody of the car: Is there any fluid in the bottom of the "cup" that surrounds that area?

    Flushing the coolant...with a twist

Everything I have read requires you to run the engine to flush the coolant. What you are describing is simply draining the coolant. That's exactly what I would like to do. :) I would just feel better doing it with the old radiator in to minimize any debris getting into my new radiator.

    Flushing the coolant...with a twist

I purchased a PWR radiator for my car, and I want to install it. However, I don't think the coolant has been changed in my car for quite some time (new car for me) and I want to do a flush of the system to clean out anything that may be in there. The car is in a non-running condition right now...

    Introduction #2...now with a '92 Teal

Hey guys, I had an '87 shell that was my old project car, but due to time constraints I never did much with it. I sold that locally, and recently I got a new '92 Teal Supra back in March, and have been meaning to do an introduction for a while now. I didn't get around to it since I've been...

    R-154 Leaks

Look at the yoke on the end of the driveshaft that goes into the transmission (through the seal you are talking about). Mine was a little corroded, and I had to replace it to fix it (an excuse for me to go one-piece). When this was leaking it would spray transmission fluid all over the...

Thread size of fuel feed fitting

I'm making a trip to summit racing to get the fittings I need to install my AFPR, and I can't seem to find the thread size of the fuel feed fitting (not on the rail, the one below the manifold). Part #23849C in this diagram: I did a search, and if someone can just confirm for me the...

Looks like mine, except I don't have the shadow grey leather . Good luck with the build.

    HELP! Clutch/shifting problems!!

Yes, check your clutch master cylinder first to see if the level is low. Brake fluid will darken over time and usually turn a gold/brown color. My guess is that it's leaking from the slave cylinder on the transmission. Next time you go out to your car look and see where the puddle of fluid is...

In an accident 30 mins after leaving dealer with a $2,000 bill...

It wasn't his fault, the truck pulled out in front of him. He hit the rear of the truck from the side (right behind the rear tire). I doubt he wants to bother with a lawyer, but we know someone personally at the insurance company so maybe that will help out a bit.

In an accident 30 mins after leaving dealer with a $2,000 bill...

So my Dad has a 2001 Ford Taurus which he took into the dealer to have $2,000 worth of work done (lots of misc. things which built up over time, plus the crazy cost of labor at the dealer). 30 minutes after picking up the car yesterday at the dealer someone in a F-150 pulls out in front of him...

    How much do you drive?

I have a 20 mile drive to work, so probably around 11k-12k on my 2001 Prelude. My Supra doesn't see too many miles right now.

Metallic screech/squeak under load @ 2500 rpm on my Prelude

Well, it's fixed! After doing some research online, I noticed that a lot of people with rpm-dependent noises had loose heat shields. Put it on jack stands today to poke around for some loose heat shields. I didn't find any, but did remember that when installing my header on the car that the two...

Metallic screech/squeak under load @ 2500 rpm on my Prelude

Glad to see some other Honda fans :). It really has been a great trouble-free car for me in the past 3.5 years, while being fun in its own way. I will try and take a video from the outside sometime this week, maybe that way will turn out better. I just changed my oil recently, and there were...
