To catch up, here are a few things I did over the summer.

This was my excuse to replace it. The stock driveshaft had some rust...
My name is Andy, and I have a 92 Teal that I've just started to build. I originally had an '87 shell that I was going to fix and drop a 7M in, but due to school and other things didn't have the time or motivation to finish it. I bought the 92 in March '09 from another member on here (although he...
Thanks for the good tips. I tried another coat of PB, and no luck. I had the 14mm flare wrench wedged up against the tank mounting strap to hold it in place, and I tried to turn the 19mm nut with both arms (also tried an extension). I think the only thing I accomplished was rounding off the 14mm...
I'm trying to remove my gas tank to install my walbro fuel pump, and I'm having a really hard time getting the fitting off for the fuel feed (the one where the hard line connects to the rubber line). I've tried 4 applications of PB blaster, letting it soak overnight and I still cannot get that...

Unfortunately I think he was just rear-ended and is selling/parting out his car.
I'll see if I can make it to the Indy2k10 meet. Unfortunately I am still on the stock HG and I can't keep my foot out of it in this car. With my luck I'll BHG a few hundred miles from home. :1zhelp: ... haha...
About 3 hours away. I don't know if you know him, but I bought my first '87 shell from Kyle in Lima, OH (he has an '89 with a 2JZ swap). Are you in Lima? I notice your profile says Indiana as well. We should meet up some time in the spring/summer.
Thanks! I just hit 100,000 miles over the...
I think he is talking about putting a fuse within 18" of the battery (the closer the better). This is a good idea when running a power cable the length of the car. The problem is that the starter runs off of this cable and it draws a lot of current. Personally, I am planning on running a 150-amp...
Good idea :). I thought of that but wasn't sure if I could spin the pulley fast enough to actually flow some coolant. I tried it but I don't think it worked very well (couldn't spin it fast enough by hand). Well I'm not going to spend any more time trying to do this now. I've just decided to...
