    Arknotts' 92 Teal Build

To catch up, here are a few things I did over the summer. Autometer mechanical boost gauge with Lotek pillar pod: Shaftmasters 1-piece aluminum driveshaft: Compared to the stocker: Nice quality joints: This was my excuse to replace it. The stock driveshaft had some rust...

    Arknotts' 92 Teal Build

My name is Andy, and I have a 92 Teal that I've just started to build. I originally had an '87 shell that I was going to fix and drop a 7M in, but due to school and other things didn't have the time or motivation to finish it. I bought the 92 in March '09 from another member on here (although he...

    Talk about lucky.

Ouch! Someone will be doing some suspension repair. Good thing they didn't hit it any faster or it might have flipped. :aigo:

    Home-made 550cc Injector harness?

I would be interested in this as well. You would just need clips that plug into the stock connectors.

Removing the fuel feed fitting at the tank

Thanks for the good tips. I tried another coat of PB, and no luck. I had the 14mm flare wrench wedged up against the tank mounting strap to hold it in place, and I tried to turn the 19mm nut with both arms (also tried an extension). I think the only thing I accomplished was rounding off the 14mm...

Removing the fuel feed fitting at the tank

I'm trying to remove my gas tank to install my walbro fuel pump, and I'm having a really hard time getting the fitting off for the fuel feed (the one where the hard line connects to the rubber line). I've tried 4 applications of PB blaster, letting it soak overnight and I still cannot get that...

    FFIM Picture request

Did you run a separate ground cable up front? Or do you mean you just grounded the engine block to the chassis?

T61 Bolt on Turbo by Cx Racing

I might try this out as well. I'm looking for something cheap to run this year until I pull the motor for a rebuild.

help me choose a fuel controller!

How is the electronic boost control on the MAFT PRO? I pulled this list off of their site: Boost Control: TPS Spool - TPS voltage to enable boost system, during Spool solenoid is on 100% RPM Spool - RPM to enable boost system, during Spool solenoid is on 100% TPS Start - TPS voltage above...

    Introduction #2...now with a '92 Teal

Unfortunately I think he was just rear-ended and is selling/parting out his car. I'll see if I can make it to the Indy2k10 meet. Unfortunately I am still on the stock HG and I can't keep my foot out of it in this car. With my luck I'll BHG a few hundred miles from home. :1zhelp: ... haha...

    Introduction #2...now with a '92 Teal

About 3 hours away. I don't know if you know him, but I bought my first '87 shell from Kyle in Lima, OH (he has an '89 with a 2JZ swap). Are you in Lima? I notice your profile says Indiana as well. We should meet up some time in the spring/summer. Thanks! I just hit 100,000 miles over the...

    FFIM Picture request

I think he is talking about putting a fuse within 18" of the battery (the closer the better). This is a good idea when running a power cable the length of the car. The problem is that the starter runs off of this cable and it draws a lot of current. Personally, I am planning on running a 150-amp...

    FFIM Picture request

^^ Looks exactly like where I plan to mount mine. I've already test-fit the targa and it does fit. Is that a Taylor battery box?

    Flushing the coolant...with a twist

Good idea :). I thought of that but wasn't sure if I could spin the pulley fast enough to actually flow some coolant. I tried it but I don't think it worked very well (couldn't spin it fast enough by hand). Well I'm not going to spend any more time trying to do this now. I've just decided to...

    FFIM intercooler pipe routing pictures

You had to get rid of your aux fans, right? Do you have any pictures of the routing to the intercooler? (once it gets below the radiator)
