I believe you bro, but a photo of your completed upgrade would be cool anyways! That is good news about the lines too, one less thing to worry about to complete this mod.
Thanks.:icon_bigg
^ Ha, Ha Duane...I got ya' beat!:icon_razz 24oz Dr.Pepper bottle, sittin' on the rad support, and zip tied to the MoCal ps cooler!:biglaugh:
Temporary though. I'm gonna' move the battery to the trunk this summer, and go back to the stock overflow tank where it (battery) used to be.
I agree, and I have them! By the time I'm done with everything, it will be just a shade over $800.00 invested. I did do it more for the looks than anything. Maybe not the best reason, but I trust what Randy (BIC Performance) says about them, "pretty good improvement over the stockers". Alot of...
Tell em the rest Duane!:icon_razz They went on another white Supra!!! Although, there is no mistaking that car from Duanes'. The wheels are the nicest thing on, or in, the whole car for that matter!!! :biglaugh: But, I understand that the owner has big plans for it eventually.:icon_bigg
Roughly 12 3/4" (12.75) That is the Power slot (base model). Randy (BIC Perf.) said they were a little bigger than that, but I just measured the Power Slots that I have here.
I would guess that these will require a 17" rim, but with an extreme offset, a 16" might work too(?) I have "old school"...
I have knock-off "Nightpager" brackets. They are paired up with 350Z 'Track' rotors. I have yet to check everything out (fitment) but, they have been done by other members, and they say that it is an improvement over the stockers. If it works out okay, I might have the brackets, and the...
Nothing says "retard" louder than "(VARY little rust)", and "BULID up", IMHO.:icon_razz If I see these kind of spelling mistakes, I immediately turn on the "Stupid, lying asshole" detector!:biglaugh:
LOL, to the 3JZ !!!
Oh yeah!! He was indeed. I just happened to be one of the lucky passengers yesterday! It couldn't be any sicker! Good job Ron.:icon_bigg::salute::
P.S. Thanks for all your help yesterday!
Tom
Ask Tejon (Sidewayz) why he finally got rid of his 180whp 'Busa'(?)! He had ridden for many years on the street, and had never been down. He told me he felt like his number was coming up soon, and it would be better not to be travelling @ 190mph+ when it did!!!:nono:
Be careful,... and be sure...
If you're willing to ship them...http://wheelsamerica.com/ this place does a pretty decent job for $120.00 per wheel. They have a shop near San Francisco.
Oh my god!!! Both the Work's and the Volks are beautiful!:squirt-mo:boink::bowdown:::salute::
Dude, you can surely do better than those lame ass Tenzo's with a fwd offset!:icon_razz
Looks great man!:boink: Glad I could be of help to you getting the fitment squared away. I do wish you could have had Eric take the photo's though! LOL!
One from the rear, and another looking down the side (f/ the rear also) will be sufficient. That is your assignment for today!:biglaugh:
No, it wouldn't be stupid. It kinda' depends on what look you are after. If you wanted a more aggressive offset, then you could step down your tire size, and still make them clear the fenderlip. Or, you could roll the fenders, space them 10-15mm, and run a larger tire for a totally mean look! I...
^ Either set would look good.:icon_bigg Although the 35mm offset would be better for the front fitment. Personally, I prefer the top set. Bottom set looks like BBS LM's (kinda'!):icon_razz
However, if you are considering a bbk in the future, the BBS lookalikes might be a better choice. I might...
