chevy sprint/pontiac firefly/suzuki swift. I have a 3 cyl 5 spd that i got for $300, i just rolled over 300,000km, i abuse it daily, and it refues to die. plus it gets 150km to 9L of gas.
anyone work for mechanical engineering related company? I have a 6 month work term in september, I'm considering moving to Calgary, seems like a nice place to live, and my sister just moved there.
tte, something like this would be nice: goto www.mcmaster.com and punch in this part number: 90058A833
ive used that type of machine screw at work before, they are very nice and not too expensive.
alternatly, you could make the places for bolts, but let the customer decide on what they want to...
you can use security screws/bolts as well. there is a pretty large variety of shapes. also, you would still want to use something like heavy duty molding tape to attach the flares, the bolts could just compress and secure them. im using a 3m tape at work, its the kind they use to hold aircraft...
its a personal decision. i would rather build a 7m, but thats me.
so either way, good luck with your swap, hope to see lots of pics when you get it on the road :)
