Like i said several days ago. Have you unplugged the connector to ISC. Did the surging stop. If so why does the the ecu want to change Idle. I guess he does not want to do that. I don't know why?

Have you unpluged the connector to the ISCV. If it does not surge then you need to figure out why the ecu is wanting to change your idle. I am sure the "smart guy" will make some wise cracks but offer no real help except insults.

Alot of 7MGTE supra have gone to 200 k plus miles with stock oil system. If you keep oil in them they will be good to you. Oil is like blood. The one time you get to low you are dead like your "dreaded rod knock" stories. I bet they almost are always low on oil. I agree that one quart...

I kind of like the old school HKS VPC. Not sure if they have or could get a chip for it with the smaller JDM injectors. You can get used USA injectors cheap. I think it would work. If I am wrong someone will say so. Good luck with the quest.
