Head design is going to make a fairly large difference, too. I think most of you guys referring to the "2JZ" sound are talking about the higher pitched raspiness you generally hear from them. Guess what? Build a 7M, go nuts on the valvetrain, get a tubular manifold and a big single and...

My blue Supra has Infinity Reference speakers (4" front / 5.25" rear). The clarity is superb. There's not a lot of bass, but that's generally not a focus for a smaller speaker. If you're running a 6.5" up front, you'll certainly get some clean bass, along with the well-known highs you get...

Thanks Nick! I had a chance to run it at about 16PSI...Which felt great, But I needed more boost...with less work. ;) This turbo is coming off tomorrow, and I'll hopefully have the new setup going in a week or so. We'll see how everything goes... Jeff

I feel you've passed a jinx on to me now... I just have a horrid feeling this is going to happen to me on the next 7M car I have to work on. Something tells me you won't be swapping a 7M into your MKIV anytime soon. :biglaugh:

Welcome! There's nothing wrong with restoring Supra's for a hobby! I'd love to see some work and/or cars of your own. :) If there's one thing Supramania is good at compared to most other forums, It's improving & enhancing the forum for the community. :) Jeff
