yup, I've done it to my 89 and 92, a 90 and an 87.. unfortunately,86.5's are different from 87/88's, and 89+'s are different still..

same happened to me, car was idling just fine and then just shut off without warning or fanfare... it turned right back on, but I'm always ultra-paranoid about it now, since a bit earlier it wouldn't stay on at all, just crank, turn on and die... hope it's not the ECU...

just leave it in gear after blowing off, and engine brake.. it's crude, but it works. I did this for a while, but now I'm properly recirculating it..

haha, dude.. yeah you're right, sorry it's 8 screws total, but you only remove 4 of them.. see the last pic? Slide out the insert and slide in the recirculating fitting.. should look like mine..

You took apart the wrong screws.. start at the top, and every other screw, remove, there should be 3, the case will slide out, and the fin literally pops out.. if the entire thing comes out, you removed the 3 wrong ones, just put them back in and do the others..

of course I do that last wipe, I mean seriously, aren't you afraid of dingle berries.?

HKS SSQV hidden behind foglight.. recirculating to accordian hose.. used to run it vented, and it would stall at first, but I learned how to drive with it. The ricer whistle got old after a while and I'm growing out of the super-loud flashy stage..

are the woofers counted in the 10 speaker package, or are they considered seperate? my 92 has 8 speakers (6.5 door speakers, tweeters, rear panels, and rear pods) were they a stand alone option?
