    If you have the stock air box intake more then likely your bov went out and you are hearing compressor surge. This is very harmful for your turbo. If this is indeed what your problem is

    I don't think its the turbo. Are you 100% sure you have no boost leaks? Do tou have any stored engine codes.

    assuming your talking about the cat close to the turbo? in that case yes it does delete it and bolts to the cat near the transmission
