My experiences with blow-off valves on my Supra(s): TurboXS RFL - Sounds like a whip. It was O-K. Had reason to believe it started leaking a bit with high boost. HKS SSQV - Sounds like: insert every other boosted car on the street. I had no problems with it...but the sound gets old...

Interesting... I can see some cartoonish similarities to a MKII. Neat though...The Celica-Supra was pretty hot in it's day. I wouldn't doubt if it the design was based around it in some way. Jeff

Well get on it now, Steve! You know how fast time starts ticking away when you're trying to plan a meet. As long as it consists of a dyno/cruise/BBQ or something similar, I'll be a happy camper. Let me know when you're thinking as well... So there's no excuses for everyone to get time...

I don't doubt the car is probably in pretty decent condition. I have to admit, if I'm going to spend $15k on a 20+ year old car, it better have an engine bay I can eat out of - To his benefit, he does have a very nice turbo setup, though. I don't know...I can't knock a car for what I think...
