depends on the individual engine.. get the head and block sent out for examination to ensure there's no warpage, if not, then you should be good with just a metal head gasket, and ARP studs... Welcome to the board by the way, if you want your daily driver Supra to stay reliable, forget...

what's so bad about that..? My 89 was Na when I bought it, swapped in a 7MGTE, kept the W58 (NA 5 speed), and the NA LSD (wasn't an open), and I couldn't be happier.. unless you're going for over 400hp, the W58 is fine... also how did you find out it was an NA..? The VIN will tell you...

2.5" intercooler piping, larger intercooler, BIC (http://www.bicperformance.com/) recirculated divorced downpipe, highflow 3" cat, 3" exhaust.. all that will net you around 300hp and 10psi (atleast it does for me)... you're looking at about $100, but after that it's all raising the boost...
