I would get it out just for the piece of mind. You'll need to remove the radiator though and shake it out. I don't think it'll be able to make it's way into the engine.

I painted the carpet in my 86.5. There are pics in my build thread of it if you feel like sifting through all the pages. The car had a light grey carpet originally but years of sun faded it to almost white in some spots plus some stains I could not scrub out. I used a paint that was for vinyl...

That's some very tedious work ahead for you and I wish you luck. I don't know if I'd have the patience for that. If you had a little extra money, one of the vendors here, can't remember which one offhand, is rebuilding harnesses. Ken

Well ok. Here's an update. I sold my car and they just drove off with it. Here is the new very pretty owner who is not unfamiliar with Supras. She has one already so this will make number 2. I told her about Supramania and hopefully she'll join very soon and introduce herself...
