Faces to Names 2: The Reckoning

Here's me trying on shirt I used to wear 20 years ago. :biglaugh: The same shirt in 1989 A pic I had made from a stand on Hollywood Blvd a couple of years ago. After a long hard day of working on the supra. At work. This photo is cropped. I'm actually standing next to Rush...

Removing stock elbow / downpipe as one piece?

Easy as pie! Did it several times. You will not believe the difference opening up the exhaust will make.

    Let's rebuild a wiring harness.

Sounds like a real douchebag. If it's a member on here I'd leave some seriously negative feedback and a link to this thread.

Ok. So I pretty much feel like an idiot.

I would get it out just for the piece of mind. You'll need to remove the radiator though and shake it out. I don't think it'll be able to make it's way into the engine.

    ForcedTorque's 3E5 has Arrived!!!!!

Save your neck and have someone else do it. Being under the car on your back with your head elevated is going to hurt.

Anyone ever dye or paint their interior?

I painted the carpet in my 86.5. There are pics in my build thread of it if you feel like sifting through all the pages. The car had a light grey carpet originally but years of sun faded it to almost white in some spots plus some stains I could not scrub out. I used a paint that was for vinyl...

    Facime's Mk2 build

From now on instead of saying "great job!" ,"excellent work" or "dude, you're the man!", I'm going to start using a thesaurus to come up with better words to describe the prodigious work that Pete is doing. With that said, the stupendous work that he is doing is well deserving of a proper...

    Facime's Mk2 build

It's gotten to the point that I no longer have anything to say without repeating myself from earlier posts. Wait! I have used the word "phenomenal" yet?

    Let's rebuild a wiring harness.

That's some very tedious work ahead for you and I wish you luck. I don't know if I'd have the patience for that. If you had a little extra money, one of the vendors here, can't remember which one offhand, is rebuilding harnesses. Ken

What in the hell have I gotten myself into?

I kinda have to agree with you there.:biglaugh: I have no clue what you're talking about. :hsugh: I wrote down the website for her and told her to join. Hopefully she will. She was enthusiastic about supras.

What in the hell have I gotten myself into?

Well ok. Here's an update. I sold my car and they just drove off with it. Here is the new very pretty owner who is not unfamiliar with Supras. She has one already so this will make number 2. I told her about Supramania and hopefully she'll join very soon and introduce herself...
