so, a few members on here know me, my supra i got about 2 months ago in the shittiest shape. no intercooler so turbo was running ambient was one of them. So, after getting a free stocker from Ukisash :biglaugh: .. i put it on and the car started boosting quicker than before.. but only running 5lbs of boost.. weird.. but ne wyas.. it was raining real heavy yesterday and i pulled again a car that was turning, hit secondn gear and the boost kicked in so hard the back end came out and the rest was history

Ouch. I suggest finding an out of the way parking lot next time its wet and doing a little practicing finding the "edge" between traction and not.

do those tires look particularly narrow to anyone?

like i said.. this car was soooo fucked up when i got it.. and its just cuz i spent everything i had to get it i cant afford to change ne thing on it .. back tires were 215-55-16 .. front were 205-55-16 ..

Kckazdude- i'm sure u were young once and im sure u remembered ur first time driving or owning a rwd car.. so the comments about being young is irrelevant.. i'm thankful i never hit anyone elses car, no one got hurt or anything like that.

Actually my first car was 72 Chevelle that would pick the front tires up off the ground. I learned the value of respecting the car really fast. Since youth, inexperience and irresponsibility were the causes of this wreck...no the comments were not irrelevant.

dont worry, i got brave the other night and tried to 'drift' this little round-a-bout thing... and im not use to how big the supra is when it gets sideways, but i came out fine... but i did drag this mcdonalds trash bag all the way to my house... lol

but i only do it at like 11pm at night with nobody in sight...

theres a time and place for everything, and you sir failed.

dam............that sucks. its not that bad though. i'm sure you'll be more careful now once you get it back on the road. i crashed my old supra in the rain. except at 80mph spinning in circles then into a gardrail. it really shook me up. now i don't just drift around town like its a race track. lol. like what was said above there is a place and time for everything.

the thing is i wasnt even trying to drift it.. i was going around a car that was turning.. i was a little pissed off so i was on the gas a little too hard.. the boost kicked in, the back kicked out and i ended up slamming into the sidewalk. as for the parts.. i wanna get this car running by monday.. i have local cars to take the parts off but i just aint got the time.. so imma have to throw one of my friends some cash to take it off for me so i can drop em on on monday

215 and 205?!

I remember when my tires were bald. It was raining and I was making a left turn. Back end slides out a bit, and I correct. I shift into third gear, and my back end slides out again. I was by no means pushing it, I was trying like a grandpa. It was then that I decided to suck it up and use my credit card to buy a new set of tires.

Hard as rock bald 225s here, I manage to not fail hard... Learn to countersteer? I'm glad no one got hurt and it shouldn't be too hard/expensive to fix that (btw, if you randomly can't find a sawblade I think I've got a spare for that side you can have for shipping) but learn to drive, dang. All 250hp you're making (if that) isn't hard to control, take it out to a parking lot like Pete said or country roads with LEVEL ground around them and practice if you have to, it's better to screw up and slide off into the grass than pwn a curb and break stuff. Those tires look decent, obviously too narrow but not outrageous, really seems like inexperience is what got you here. Just my two cents.
