    CajunKenny's Build Thread

So, I have lost sleep over something… I don’t like the idea of an aluminum box sitting there. I’m thinking of trying a “stealthy” approach. The problem with that is accessibility. Sure, I can hide it; but, then it will be difficult to check the level in the...

Ok. Some progress today... Here is the Water/Meth Res Box progression. It's mostly done anyway... The proposed location. The plan is to utilize the holes that held the factory plastic tray in place. And this arrived today!

    Race Ready 7M

I don't recall, what fuel pump are you running? If you're still at 7psi of boost, then your fp rises to 49 psi at full boost. In order to take the measurements Jetjock suggested, you'll need an oscilloscope (aka: o'scope). The measurements can be taken two ways: While on a dyno and/or while...

ok can i get a good tune on maft by myself???

The Maft Install Instructions say to tap the MAP Sensor to FPR Vac. When I inquired about that, Bob said that it was that line sees vac first. He also stated that T-ing it on the back of our plenum has a potential for problems because of the "pulses" from cylinder 6. I and many others have...

    Race Ready 7M

In my experience, tighter plug gap = worse idle. Are your plugs still indexed? It sounds like the only thing left is wiring, Van. You can try to narrow it down wire by wire by checking resistance from the ECU to that given component. It's hard to detect intermittencies that way. A better...

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

It was the TS2-XTSS. HD PP with a Full Disk. The rear main was barely leaking. It wasn't even enough to coat the flywheel so that wasn't the cause. I took care of the seal and have the 6 Puck installed now. All I'm waiting on now is for my buddy to weld up a bung for my meth injector and...

9.5 psi stock ct26 dyno sheet

For one, I'm not saying that it isn't true or impossible. I'm just saying that there's gotta be more there. High CR maybe? Maybe the dyno is off. On one dyno, I put down 301 whp and with the same exact setup, I put down 367 on another.

    Standalone Decision... Help!

^Exactly! I should've elaborated a bit more. The shops that ran in to low impedance injector problems were on completely custom setups. Mainly honduhs.... They had no resistor so it over-drove the AEM unit. You and I are both 91 and have the PnP Version... :)

    Standalone Decision... Help!

Great info Steve! My supporting comment is that the AEM CANNOT drive LOW IMPEDANCE injectors! Any used AEM should be sent to AEM for re-testing because if any of the previous owners drove low impedance injectors, then all of the drivers need to be replaced. The cost for re-testing is $75.00...
