they will blink hyperfast, but that is due to the flasher... you can wire in resistors, or swap out the flasher.. I have LED bulbs in my 86.5, and I used an LED flasher from http://autolumination.com/equalizers.htm and it blinks at the normal rate now...

the pre 89 and 89 steering wheels have reuglar phillips head screws, just unscrew those, unplug the cruise control, and the holding nut is right there, but on 90+ wheels use a "security star" screw driver, and unscrew the 4 from the sides, then it pulls off..

You can rent a steering wheel puller for around $20 at Autozone, and once you're done, they refund you every last penny..

in that case, you swap in an NA 4.3 LSD and you can zoom by him at legal highway speeds..:D
