Pistons are a bit wet and oily looking. The motor has been up to operating temp and the noise is still intermittent at that stage. Oil and filter still need to be checked. I also made sure the timing belt was lined up correctly

I checked all the gaps for the hell of it all where still exactly where I gapped them too. .028

After going and looking over all the pistons they look fine and undamaged on top. But they are a little wet. Looks like clear water so I'm assuming its fuel.
