If you're cps has the original o-ring then it is hard and will come off in pieces. They are cheap from Toyota and easy to replace. Start there. It's a common problem.
I'm crossing my fingers it'll hold out for Houston. I mean, it runs really really good, just those two subjects concern me. It is and shall remain on stock boost for now. I've pretty much come to terms with the fact that the engine will need to come out again eventually but I'm happy to drive...
Tomorrow morning after I get home from work we are heading out on another roadtrip to Kentucky, not in the supra. The whole family is going so not enough room.
The car is still running good but not without some concerning issues though. The day after I took it on it's little road trip, I...
There is a Thunder Cats movie coming out. The husband of one of my wifes high school friends directed it. Jerry O'Flaherty. I don't know of any release date and I believe it's animated.

I remember how tight, quiet and smooth they were. I was 21 the first time I drove an MKIII and up until that time it was the nicest vehicle I had ever driven. A cherished memory. I remember after driving a Lexus, that I thought the Supra felt like one.
Not a lot of us here remember them brand new. Damn they were so nice to drive new. I couldn't afford one then so snuck in test drives when allowed. 30k was astronomical then. You could get a brand new LS400 for $38k then.
Well today I am happy to report that I took the car on a short road trip. Fort Worth to Georgetown which just north of Austin. It was about a 2.5 hr drive one way. My friend Dustin and I went down there to pick up a camera I bought from one of his family friends. All together I put a little...
All of a sudden my wife can no longer pull up Facebook on this computer using IE. It will work with FireFox. It will work on other computers in the house using IE, just not this one. This is what we get:

Has anybody else had this problem...
PM Jdub. He's the expert on this. If you do, make sure you give him detailed info on your car and specificly what your plans are. This is something you want to be absolutely sure of before you go tampering with the oil pump.
Now go to bed!

I never went off my SM when I had my 86.5. It was always lower than what I actually calculated and this was even on a stock fuel system. But yeah, the SM is only good for reading codes.
My sisters 82 L-Type had a "Trip Computer" and it was always spot on with the mpg.
Normal city/hwy combined I go about 350 miles before I fill up and that's not on empty. 23 mpg combined. Straight hwy I get 28 mpg. 100% stock GTE.
