It would probably be the best DP for your GTE. I don't know from personal expierience...yet, but that's what will go on my car when the funds are available. I have done a lot of research on them and I'm sold. I am going to get the re-routed wastegate pipe though so it'll be quiet.
I have this linked saved. It's similiar to the one you posted Jay.

Since you're putting so much heat in that area, would it be a good idea to get a new rear main seal, you know, just in case it gets damaged, or melted? They are cheap and easy to replace.
Hell, I'm not totally convinced my car is up to it but I'm going to give a good boyscout's try! I'm taking tools and minor parts with me, just like every other supra owner. ;)
Dude! You got a pm!:biglaugh:
The guy I used I have used since 1989. Him and his brother run the shop and do all the tinting themselves. Although they cringed when I asked them to do a retint, they said they'd do it and be extra careful of the defrost and built in antenna. He said he...
That harness sure is purty. I've got a 91 automatic and should really splurge for one, if they have it.
Adam, are you going to have this on the road this season? I've waited patiently for two winters and then some and I really don't know how much more I can stand. Honestly....:biglaugh:
So it's not seized up so don't worry about that.
Get some jumper cables and try jumping it. If it cranks then the signal wire may be the culprit. You did say the battery and starter are new right? Brand new or "used" but new to you?
Was that "milk" on one of the pistons?? If so, I'm sensing rod knock in your future...sorry.
The starter signal wire may be bad. It's the little brown wire that plugs into the starter. It's a VERY common problem. Try jumping your car off. If it starts then that may be your problem. Rule...
That's the original radio and it works like a charm. The bezel is courtesy of Dr. Jonez. My original one was hacked so that a fancy radar detector could be installed. I yanked that shit out first off. I didn't work anyway. So Dr J sold the one off of his 92. It's unhacked.
The weather is...
So I borrowed a friends power washer to clean off all the mud on the back patio and porch and had a great idea! Why not use it on the engine bay.

I still need to get the degreaser and do it again, but overall it looks much better. And no I never hit the engine...
Ok, so nothing catastrophic. Tensioner puller is the biggest deal, fix it. The rest is small potatoes. I've got one of those rubber boots split completely in half also and has been for years, according to previous owner. My PS still drips on occasion. Fix the tensioner and worry about the...
