You need an 89 turbo taillight box, it should be white.

Dark green? That's a JDM only color. Hardtop turbos are rare, you mainly see targas and sunroofs. I'd say go for it.

The taillight failure box has nothing to do with pre 89 or 89+ taillights, the box color depends on the 3rd brake light and they're all plug and play.. now the real issue can be a socket has corrosion on it, or bearly making contact, as you do have to swap over the 89+ bulb holders. Please...

Bgriger has a twin turbo 7MGTE.. There was also a compound twin turbo system on a member's car here, I forgot what his name was, famous FFIM maker.. the consensus is it isnt worth it because a correctly sized single can spool faster and make more power than twins can with less IC plumbing...
