The holders in the rear should stay locked in place, unless you release them with the switch. It is very common for them to not hold well, and you get the same result as you got when doing it wrong. It will drop that end of your top. BTW......I have a good set if you or anybody else needs them.

I'd give a nut or two for that losing Mustang. That show is about performance though. They do it on racetracks, not dyno's.
