    why switch to 91-92 dipstick

I have the original 90, and I don't try to read the hash marks. I just make sure the entire paddle (flat part) is covered in oil top to bottom. Yes, that means its "overfilled". Go to the oil sticky and read why that is a good idea. Poodles, I'm surprised you don't add extra oil.. ?

Kyana Supras Fall Meet Nov. 2nd 2008

I'm beginning to think that car doesn't exist..You just use a picture of someone else's supra and pretend its your own! You even got the owner to let you pose in pictures with it. I'm sure there's a name for this kind of personality disorder... :P

    What are you reading?

I'm hoping they don't make a movie out of Anne's books! She probably won't let them as long as she is alive. Oh, and the funniest series I ever read was Douglas Adams (RIP) Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He helped with the movie, and I think they did a very good job (have it on DVD). So...

    What are you reading?

I've read most of the Xanth books, his Bio of a Space Tyrant series, two of the Mode books and his Adept series along with misc others he has written. His books often have a touch of soft porn or incredible violence to them. His Firefly book was just bizarre, and I quit reading his stuff...

    What are you reading?

I have a confession to make - I've read all (yes ALL) of the Harry Potter books. I've read alot of sci-fi/fantasy books in my life, and believe it or not JK Rowling is a very good author. She has an incredible imagination. The movies really don't do the books justice. Very well written. One...

What is this thing? How does it hook up?

Yes, I installed it to the back of the lock cylinder and WOOHOO, I can unlock the car without the alarm going off. Thank you!! With the first item installed, I can see where the second one bolts in at, but not sure what angle it should be. When I pull off both door panels to do the speakers...

What is this thing? How does it hook up?

Ah, another one from the "what the hell is this" category.. There are two do-hickies at my fingertips. They were just hanging in the door panel. The DS door handle is right above my hand. When the car was at the body shop, they pulled out the door handles to paint, and put them back in. Also...

On the topic of seat belts and safety

Since the rear seat belts aren't used as much (typically), they shouldn't wear out as fast. I bet the seat belts in certain model celicas would work. Be curious to know if anyone has tried them..

On the topic of seat belts and safety

The belts won't catch if snapped, the brake needs to be engaged. Here is a page out of my 90 TSRM: I haven't done the static test. No mention of that mysterious comfort lever though..

On the topic of seat belts and safety

I did some research on here, and I've not found alot of info on seat belts. My concern is my 2 yr old daughter that rides with me. Mike (supramk3man) told me that in a wreck, his mkiii shoulder belt didn't hold him well, and this concerns me. What I have found is that the mkiii belts are inertia...

Any other car seats bolt in a mkIII?

Would be very easy to dye them black or navy blue. Its not worth the trouble of going to a junkyard for another 18-20 yr old set.

Faces to Names 2: The Reckoning

Perhaps in a PM?? :naughty: Ok, the last paragraph makes the most sense, haha! I wrench on my car, but really, I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just not intimidated by it, and I love to learn new things. Although I try hard not to catch the car on fire ;) But honestly, when out on a...

Please post THAT picture on this thread. You can get the ball rolling, so-to-speak.. ;) I think there's more than one or two on here.. :naughty: I still don't understand what the big deal is about a woman owning a sports car, or wrenching on it. :dunno: Ah, bet you say that to ALL the...

Steering pulls to the right (Resolved 11/08)

I don't know if we have one in our area!!! Allen suggested a place, but I had taken my blue 87NA there a few years ago with steering pull issue (back when I was more ignorant). Specifically told them the problem, they aligned the front end and returned the car to me with the same issue. And the...
