That little elbow that attaches the short cable to the speedo gear is a very common failure. Not a cheap one either. Replace the entire cable system. You can get it from Driftmotion or Toyota. DM might be a little cheaper though.

I swapped the electronics from my sc400 afm to my supra and there was no change so I can rule that out. All my grounds looked ok. This problem appears to be above my pay grade. I'll keep yall advised of my findings in case someone else has a similar problem.

Well mine idles a little rough and sometimes surges. When I press the gas it takes off and never chokes at any rpm. It'll still shit and get but it's just pouring gas out the exhaust. I be worried for anybody smoking a cig when I pass by. I'll check into the grounds.

Code 43 only. That's because of a "fix" I have with a relay so I don't have to worry about the car not starting sometimes. I might take the electronics off my Lexus SC400 and swap 'em out to pinpoint or rule out it even being the afm.

Wideband all over the place but runs mostly very rich at 10-11. Idle surging or idling a little high around 1k rpms. No vacuum leaks to be found.

I've read the upper control arms are interchangeable but the lower ones are not. Even if they were, you don't want to do it. The bushings are weak and prone to early failure and the ball joint is not seperate. MKIV Supra's and SC3/400's share the same suspension except for the stablizer bar...

I drove my supra today.

Replace both the long and short cable. Short cable is cheap, long one...well...not so cheap.

Tomorrow at sunset take your car out again and take some pictures. The difference is, well, night and day! I think the sun kiss on the first pic is awesome.
