at what rpm does a stock turbos make boost on a 1j? and the 3,000 was just for the rebuild or buying the 1j, not for getting to 400hp that was just my bar.

I want to road race and/or auto-x in my supra and im looking to put around $3,000 to rebuilding the 7m or buying a 1j. I am only looking for about close to 400hp right now just want some peoples opinions on what motor would be better for that kinda racing. I was thinking 7m because of the tq...
