Hello everyone!

My name is Kris Lewis. For the longest time, I have wanted to own either an Turbo II FC, or a what I now own. I went from owning a ton of probes, to a mustang gt, and now this. Wehn I was in the process of selling my 98 Mustang GT, I searched within a 100 mile radius and could not fin a single MK3 turbo. Luckily on day, a guy from a local forum (toledotuners.com) put his car up for sale. It was EXACTLY the car I have been looking for. His price was high and was asking $5500, but he then dropped it to $4500. The car has 150K on the body, and 1800 on the engine with receipts and everythng on a completely fresh rebuild using all new Toyota OE parts. I love this car because it has absolutley no imperfections on the body at all.. It has had it's fair share of engine problems already, but just some gaskets and boost leaks really.
Also, It's 99% unmolested. The previous owner installed some ugly ricer muffler, nice wheels, and a K&N cone filter. I have to intall new valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, and hood shock, then I can begin modding. I am in the process of hopefully buying a set of GYB -2 with Eibach springs. My 1st mods to the car will be a turbo back catless 3" exahust, injectorts, pump, then after the correct fuel mods a mbc and fcd.

Anyways, I only have one pic of the car, but here she is!

Also, If anyone can give me any helpfull tips on making this intake manifold gasket replacement easier, please let me know. I have never done struts before either so any helpfull info on that would be great also!

I am looking forward to learning about these cars and contributing to the MK3 community.

Welcome! Nice looking MKIII! Love the wheels, what are they?

They look like Kazera KZ-A's. I have a set of them on my 89 N/A. But they're the black with machined lip, not the chrome ones he has. The only thing about these wheels is that I was only able to find them in a 7.5" width, nothing bigger. Whatever, they still look good. I have to say that those wheels in the chrome definately look good on his car. Welcome to SM Kris!

So what is it that supposedly makes the 10 lug ones better?
not really better, just makes it useable for other cars.. with 5 lug. Would also think they are a lil weaker since there is less metal there.

I forgot what his SN was on here, but it was a guy up in Dallas with a dark blue MK3, that had wheels similar to those, but in bronze.
