Ok so the intake would be right about the 0 mark then and the exhaust will be around the second mark on the retard side, if im understanding you correct.

^^^ yep look to be around 8 degrees. What would you do on adjusting the cams? Do all on one gear/cam, if so witch one, split the difference, 4 degrees each. Last option 5 on intake and 3 degrees on exhaust?

Yep according to the cam card that came with them, mesuring at 50 thou lift. Using ARM gears. And yes they haven't moved yet, easy to check them with the clear timing cover. Here are pics of he cam gears, I just took them. Intake cam Exhaust cam

It is never a safe idea to have fluids going into the cock pit. Just buy a quality built gauge. Electric or mechanical there only good/accurate as they were built. Even right now my mechanical fuel pressure gauge on my AFPR is off by 10 psi, then my electrical one.
