yup, that's the cause of that problem. you have 2 options- slap a resistor between THA and E2 or wire the MAFT pro's power source such that it powers up before the ECU....
no chance that '88 harness will work on your '89- the plugs are different. yup, HK$ used to make a PnP harness for you....good luck finding one. if you're dead set on using the FCON, you might as well just hard wire it.

use VE table 2, it's more for stock engines.
your TPS V looks about normal....you could certainly try adjusting it, but that seems to be about the average reading most see...

anyone that sells MAFT pro stuff has a "gentleman's agreement" with FTS to NOT undercut them.....but as always not everyone does that (HPF, suprasport, etc.). so no, i will not be cheaper than that (well, possibly, since i do offer free shipping...).
