well I know that fuel pressure is not suppose to bleed off right away. But im not sure how longs its suppose to stay up. Thats why im thinking I have a leaking injector. And if thats that case then that might explain the gas smell as from that black cloud of smoke at startup. I dont remember...

I guess the reason im thinking leaky injector is cause of the gas smells and black smoke after it starts. Only after its warm remember. But the more you crank the more fuel you starting with also. Just wondering for how long my fuel pressure should stay up as well. That lead me to believe it...

Are they going to replace the high pressure line or did they not put new crush washers in when they took the front end down the first time? If you need a new line then dont get an OEM. Buy one from driftmotion. Its stainless braided and much cheaper. I think a new on OEM is like almost $300...

Well I hope it is the tranny fluid leak. But how does that explain it smoking on acceleration only? Or under boost was it?

Also Tracy forgot to mention this motor had been supposedly rebuilt. To what extent we dont know. Probably like most "rebuilds" with just a head gasket. But we dont know for sure. Also dont know how long ago either.
