    I used to use a big washer that went over the pin and a good pair of sidecutters, no damage to the block and pin free in minutes with a minimum of fuss. Knocking them through you run the risk of splitting the block.

    Yep think it's the Gases while it's curing that are the issue Dan, very acidic. My understanding of the NB Emulation is it's quite slow and you can end up in a feedback loop while it's playing catch up...

    I think the Silicone Safe thing refers to using it as a thread sealant Dan, (don't understand why you would need to though) I use an Antiseize on mine and the washer seals fine.
