For me it actually did end up being the switch. Didn't realise that even though there's a starter relay, all current goes through the starter switch. I figured it just tripped the relay. So silly me, I wired in a cheapo switch with whatever size of wire I could find. Didn't work too well...

No, if you look a little further up, you see the manuals for my unit. On that manual however, a stock Ct falls under the category of single port waste gate
It's not a solenoid valve, it's a stepper. But "power off" on the controller, I'm certain, doesn't actually power down anything. It just reverts back to stock boost. Does that help?
You must be a little confused. I have a stock CT. There's no port on the wastegate actuator to have pressure assist the spring.

My shop, VAPR Tuning, produces some stock replacement hardlines for the power steering. Instead of going around the subframe, it goes straight across the rack and makes installation a 5 minute ordeal. If you'd be interested, I can have one made up for you!

Is a CBN cutter really required? At school we've been taught those were basically for hardened steels. And at work we've gotten some pretty damn good finishes with just carbide. Biggest cutter I've ever used is a 2 inch face mill though.
