Its not suppose to flutter at all. I have an HKS SSQV and it dosent flutter or mak the turbo surge at low of at high boost. Was the BOV bought brand new or used?

Im curious how a blacked out supra would look in Flat black. I've seen a few cars and them look pretty mean like this. Anyone have pics of a supra?

Yeah Ive had the BIC DDP a while ago, but parted most of my aftermarket parts, and now im restarting to lightly mod. So im just looking for the best bang for the buck. Yes I also have an HKS DP at the moment, botle necking is the reason I want a full 3" DP.

Has anyone used these Downpipes? Any reviews on the quality? Or reviews at all? Im in the market for one, and it seems to be the best bang for the buck. And it also has the flex section. Also is it safe to use the existing Wideband bung on the downpipe? I always thought it should be around 18...

My goal is to have a turbo that spools quick, but still has good top end. Also could I use and T4 adapter to use it with my stock manifold? I just sold my T4 manifold, thinking I wouldnt have use for it. Also would this be a small mid size turbo for a 7m or?

I would paint the moldings, unpainted moldings makes these cars look older IMO.

Well long story short, the BOV works perfectly! I cleaned it up like Gofastgeorge said, and bam! It works flawlessly! No flutter or compression surge at all! Thanks Gofastgeorge.

Well I just installed it yesterday. So I dont have to take it apart for this procedure ? Ill probably give it a try.

The thing that bothers me is that I can hear the compression surge alot.

Well I've seen other members on here using these BOV\s and it seems some of the get no flutter. I just test drove my car right now. I get a flutter ever at 8 psi. At 10psi I get a little tiny whistle. Ill try getting a better vaccum source and then if that dosent work, ill clean it up...

No, it has no adjustment unfortunetly. Also its the 2 GEN BOV.

So I traded my Turbo XS RFL BOV for an HKS SSQV. I got it installed last night, I welded the flange in the same location I had my old Turbo XS bov flange. I used the same vaccum line off of the stock location as the stock BOV. It seems I get some mad compressor surge at the turbo. At full boost...

I guess we can't expect every Turbo Civic to be fast, same for the supra.

Ok so do you guys think this turbo is sized correctly to prevent Compressor Surge? I guess will find out once we get some vids, and the on car testing begins.
