Not that anyone cares much about my lil' ol 6M, but I went back and retested it at the dyno after I figured out an issue, and she made 155whp and 175 ft/lbs. Still having some issues though, getting some detonation, so gotta figure that shit out and probably get some more hp out of it.

I really need the speed cut gone so I can do 4th gear dynos, that's the major thing. TY for the help.

Well the dyno guy just called me back to say he tested a bunch of cars today and the dyno is dead on those cars, so he believes my dyno to be accurate. .... wtf

You don't have to, I was just looking for a better explanation as to where I should look... like ECU plugs or speed control plugs or what. Telling me pink wire in the harness is kinda vague :)

Didn't score anything really, the dyno gave me horrible results that make no sense. My most consistant run was 114whp and 154 ft/lbs... another weird one was 137whp and 170ft/lbs. Everyone I've spoken to says the dyno was inaccurate

You'll have to forgive my electronic ignorance, but where the hell is that? LOL Am I looking at the plug ins to the ECU or what? The 5MGE wiring harness doesn't have any pink wires going to any of the ECU plug ins. Only pink wires I know of go into the speed control box which I assume...

You guys have very good ears! Yes, I had numerous problems at the dyno yesterday and most of my runs were cut short of redline because of various dyno sensors screwing up. The video I posted was the best I got, even though it was only to 5,000rpm or so.

....... ok I did this search because I am researching bypassing the speed cut for the 6MGE ECU I will be getting in a couple weeks. This pink wire I am supposed to "cut", is it going to or coming out of the speed control box?

My ass dyno tells me that the real dyno is on crack. Everyone who has ridden in my car has said it should be 170-180whp easy. And these aren't people who daily drive Dodge Colts, not knowing what 180whp feels like.

So upon further research, I am reading that because the HP and TQ scales aren't the same, rpms are not going to cross at 5252. So I just photoshopped one graph to move the tq scale up to be where the hp one is, and all it did was push the hp/tq crossing to 3500rpm. LOL Here are the...

Can anyone explain to me why I would dyno and see my hp and tq lines cross at 4100rpm NOT 5252 like it's supposed to? Asking the dyno operator only resulted in him telling me my timing or ECU is bad :3d_frown:
