as soon as i get my NA motor sold, i can get it done. i'm about to deploy again, so it might have to wait till i get back. a few months from now.
i'm gonna build my own exhaust and downpipe. i know 2 guys who have welders and know how to weld. i'm gonna be gettin a bunch of pipes from...
the ones i have circled are the ones you need from E10A. there are only 9 of them. the other plugs, E9... not much modification. it just goes to various engine components. the big block plug you need a few wires from. such as for the starter.
ha, good luck. it's really not as hard as you might imagine. best thing you can do is print out a copy of a 90 tsrm ecu wiring diagram and a 95 ecu diagram. there are stickies that have links to ecu pinouts, you will need those too. just get a multimeter and compare the two diagrams, you'll get...
HA, you guys are awesome...
ALMOST DONE!!!!!
all i have left is to make an exhaust and hook up the oil feed line. and figure out a way to get the stock lines for the A/C to fit on the compressor. i already swapped heads but i can't get the lines on. the PS pump is in the way. and i...
31101-14010 cover sub-
31102-14010 cover sub-
they are about 55 bucks each
i'm just gonna get some speed tape from work and cover the holes with that. if it's good enough for a jet to fly with i figure it's good enough for my car!
well, i bought a big turbo for my 2jz swap and i'm havng fitment issues. i can only clock the turbo 2 ways. pointing up near the shock tower or pointing down near the A/C lines
i want to see how you (if you have a bg turbo like this) did your piping right off the turbo. i have my eye on a 90...
ok, i am almost done. i just ordered all the fuel line fittings i need so all i have left is exhaust and a coupler for the turbo to the intercooler pipes. due to the limited space i have to get a tight bend coupler, i don't know if i need 90 degrees or 130 degrees, which one would be best.
i...
That's exactly what i did after i stopped trying to understand what the links providied were trying to say. I'm doing the wiring right now in my 89 NA. I'm having a little trouble finding +B, M-REL and BATT for the ECU. The NA wiring is a little different than the turbo 7M wiring. All I'm doing...
just lettin you all know i have a 7MGE for sale. runs great, i rebuilt it in FEB this year. i'm selling it for $750.

i'd be willing to drive up to 100 miles away, without charging for gas. any more than...
i tried to buy one of them, and 2 weeks later wondering where it was, they said it was backordered and they didn't know when they will be getting any more. it took like 3 days for them to refund my money.
got a little bit done today.
mounted the intercooler, wrapped the manifold in heat shield stuff.
And this is my buddy and his new honda shadow. got it today, doesn't know how to ride that well yet, but he can drive it. he pushed it back home almost a 1/4 mile cause he...
a little update. i have a few things to do.
i need to run a return line for the fuel, i used the return line for the second feed for the other pump
i need to get a tight bend 90 degree coupler for the turbo, which barely fits in the bay
i need to get a big fan for the radiator
tonight i...
i don't know if 1j's and 2j's use the same belt. but you can use the stock belt if you re-route it. it may save you $60. trust me, it takes a few minutes to visualize it, make sure everything is rotating the right way.
we don't have any supras at any of the junkyards in town. and shipping a fuel line would be out of the question, would get all mangled up. i think for now, running the stock line with only 1 pump in should be more than enough for at least 500hp. so i'll get it tuned for that. then when i get...
thanks for all the input guys. i would've spent around $200 or more just on lines and fittings tha i wasn't sure i needed. now all i gotta do is build my exhaust and get oil flanges for the turbo. and i'll be running!
